ListeningAn Apple Music-style library for Scripture.
MemorizationA tap-to-reveal active recall method for meditation and memorization.

One rhythm. Two ways in.

Listen

Browse Scripture by book and chapter, listen with the soothing voice of Evensong, the grounded warmth of The Elder, or the thoughtful clarity of The Scholar, and build custom playlists around the passages you want to remember.

Memorize

Turn any verse or passage into a personalized, multisensory practice: hear it in your chosen voice, reveal it word by word, and measure your progress as Scripture moves from something you read to something you remember.

The same passage can be heard, saved, practiced, and revisited without leaving Cadence.

Choose how Scripture meets the moment.

Cadence begins with three distinct narrators because different voices draw us into different passages—and different moments call for different ways of listening.

Evensong
Soft, literary, atmospheric, and quietly beautiful.
The Elder
Warm, grounded, steady, and wise.
The Scholar
Thoughtful, precise, intellectually alive, and full of wonder.

Make Scripture memory feel possible.

“Memorize more Scripture” is an easy goal to set and a hard one to sustain. Cadence makes it achievable by combining tap-to-reveal active recall with instant, visible progress—turning a daunting ambition into small wins that build over time. When a passage needs reinforcement, hear it again in your chosen voice. Together, active recall, immediate feedback, and repeated listening help memorization become a lifelong practice.

Looking ahead

Curated journeys through Scripture.

Cadence Stories will bring selected passages together with thoughtful narration and, where appropriate, ambient music, sermon excerpts, or licensed music. Stories will be editorially curated by Cadence and introduced gradually.

An invitation to build with care.

Cadence has intentionally selected the ESV and The Message as its preferred primary translation partners. We recognize the responsibility involved in presenting and narrating Scripture and would be honored to explore partnership with the appropriate rights holders.
